ELEVATED portraits
Becoming, in black and white.
In the space between light and shadow, something real is revealed.
Not the polished version of you. Not the performance. Just… you.
These portraits aren’t about perfection — they’re about presence.
The quiet moments. The in-between. The strength it takes to show up as you are.
Whether you're marking a milestone or simply want to see yourself clearly,
this is a space to slow down, breathe, and be seen,
not just as you are, but as you're evolving.
I don’t just take portraits. I create space.
A space where you can exhale.
Where you can trust — not just me and my camera, but yourself.
Where you don’t have to perform, pose, or be perfect.
I work in black and white because it feels like truth.
It pulls away the noise and lets us see what’s real — the emotion, the presence, the soul of a person.
It feels like nostalgia, but it also feels like coming to yourself.
It captures both who you are now and something you're still growing into.
This work is about connection.
My hope is that in these quiet moments, you find something new in yourself.
Something honest. Something strong. Something soft.
And maybe, just maybe, you grow a little from it.
That’s the story I want to tell of you.
Why Black & White
When I was young, I used to sit with a box of old family photographs — black and white, worn at the edges, soft with time.
I didn’t know all their names, but I studied their faces like they were speaking to me.
The tilt of a head, the way someone held a child, the stillness in their eyes —
somehow, they put me at ease, they gave me strenght.
Black and white images always felt like a bridge.
A way to feel connected to people and moments that came before me.
Even without color, they were full of life. Maybe even more so.
Because nothing distracted from what mattered — the feeling, the presence, the soul.
That’s what I want to give to the people I photograph.
Images that outlive trends.
Images that make your children and grandchildren feel something —
not just see what you looked like,
but feel who you were in a moment in time.
Emotion Lives Here
I’m not here to capture perfect smiles.
I’m here for the quiet glances. The breath before the tears. The tenderness in your eyes when you’re not performing for the world.
My photographs are raw, honest, and unposed — because that’s where the truth lives.
And truth is where we feel most human.
When you look at your images, I want you to feel something real.
Maybe it’s recognition.
Maybe it’s softness.
Maybe it’s a piece of yourself you hadn’t seen in a long time.
These portraits are not just for now — they’re for later, too.
For the days you need to remember your strength.
For your children to see who you really were.
For the version of you that is evolving and growing.
A Place to Return to Yourself
In a world that moves too fast,
I want this to feel like an oasis.
A gentle pause.
A space to lay down the pressure, the performance, the noise.
A place where you don’t have to hold it all together.
Here, you’re free to just be —
to let go of everything that keeps your soul from stretching, softening, and unfolding.
This is where you meet yourself again.
Not the version the world expects —
but the one who’s been there all along. Quiet. Real. Whole.
Through stillness, through light, through honest portraiture,
I want to help you see your own reflection —
and recognize your strength, your softness, your humanity.
About the artist
I am Roxi!
I believe portraits are more than pictures — they are stories told in light and shadow.
I create a quiet space where you can unfold and simply be yourself.
My approach is honest and gentle, focused on capturing the moments that often go unseen — the subtle glances, the soft breath, the quiet strength beneath the surface.
Working in black and white lets us strip away the noise and focus on what truly matters: presence, emotion, and spirit.
Together, we create images that linger — reflections of who you are now and perhaps a little more.
