ROXI.
Visual Artist
I came to Austin over two decades ago with nothing but a dream and a relentless need to create. Since then, I’ve spent 17 years immersed in beauty, fashion, and the art of human connection. But long before the camera, before the studio lights and soft shadows, there was something else — a childhood shaped by silence, sensitivity, and a deep longing to feel.
I was raised in an environment where emotions were quieted, and love was something you earned by enduring. But I always felt — deeply. I absorbed the energy of rooms, the pain of people I loved, the invisible shifts others missed. This sensitivity — once seen as “too much” — is now the very thing that makes me an artist.
Through photography, I’ve found a language for all the things that words can’t quite say. I work primarily in black and white — not because it’s trendy, but because it tells the truth. In monochrome, there are no distractions. Just soul, shape, and shadow. Just you.
As an artist, I care about presence. I notice what others overlook — the tilt of a shoulder, the softness in your gaze, the moment you exhale and finally let go. I don’t stage perfection; I witness your truth. My portraits aren’t just images — they’re mirrors. They show you not just who you are, but who you’re becoming.
I am especially drawn to working with women — not to idealize, but to honor. To celebrate bodies as they are. To offer a quiet place of return, where self-acceptance begins not with a transformation, but with a soft, radical yes to the woman in front of the lens.
You’ll find that working with me is calm, warm, and easy. We can start with a dry haircut or light styling if you’d like — no rush, no pressure. During the session, you’ll be gently guided, never posed. I’ll help you slow down, sink in, and let yourself be. Afterward, we’ll curate your images together, choosing the ones that make you feel the most whole.
If you’re enchanted by old-world beauty, the elegance of simplicity, or the magic of unfiltered emotion — then we’ll get along just fine.
I believe in honesty, compassion, and artistic intimacy. I believe in giving you an experience that feels like a quiet homecoming. And I believe — deeply — that photography can heal, reveal, and remind us that we are already enough.
This is my work.
This is my calling.
And I would be honored to hold space for your story.
